Jill Woods has been sharing her crafts for over 30 years. She began teaching basketry in Allegan in the late 1990s and later added broom making and wicker repair to her class list. She enjoys passing along her knowledge of theses age old crafts.

The Stitched Whisk Broom
This whisk is tied and the handle is woven with broom corn stem trimmings. The brush end is then stitched to form the working end of the whisk broom.
Wednesday, February 28th
The Turkey Wing Whisk Broom
The fan of this broom is formed by winding the broom, then the handle is woven in the same method as the stitched whisk broom.
