Printing and Copying

  • Black & White, $.20 per side
  • Color, $.25 per side
  • Printing Guidelines: We cannot print on glossy paper, vellum, tissue, coated paper, or cardstock that is thicker than 90lb. Print jobs that require special paper must be print-ready, saved or sent as PDF files, and paper must be provided by the patron. Library staff may refuse print jobs due to unacceptable paper type, file type, or formatting requests.

Outgoing Faxes

  • $2 (any amount of pages)

Scanning

  • There is no charge for scanning.

Laminating

  • $1 per 8.5"x11" sheet.

Public Computers

  • Internet access and Microsoft Office available. 
  • You must sign on to computers using your library barcode. If you do not have a library card, a guest pass may be obtained at the Circulation Desk.
  • Users are limited to 60 minutes, this time may be extended if no other patrons are waiting.

Free WiFi

  • WiFi is available 24/7. The public network is not password protected.

Notary

  • Call 269-857-8241 for availability or to schedule an appointment.
  • In order to receive notarization services, patrons MUST bring the following:
    • Valid State, Federal, or other government picture ID (Driver's License/State ID, Passport, US Military ID)
    • The unsigned document to be notarized
    • Witnesses (if needed) 
  • Allowable Notarization Types
    • Acknowledgments
    • Administer Oaths or Affirmations (Jurat)
    • Witness or Attest to a Signature
  • Nonallowable Notarization Types
    • Trusts or Wills
    • Financial Documents that are related to mortgage and housing
    • Power of Attorney 
    • I-9 forms
    • Prenuptial Agreements
    • Blank documents or documents with blank spaces other than the space for a signature
    • Documents that are already signed (signatures must be witnessed by the Notary Public)
    • Documents that are in a language other than English
  • The Notary Public will not certify or notarize that a document is an original or a true copy of another document.
  • The Notary Public will not prepare or complete documents, nor can they give legal advice on a matter.
  • In accordance with Michigan law, a Notary Public may refuse to perform a notarial act for any reason.
