Seed Starting and Spring Planting with Hannah Mason, Horticulturist

Anyone can grow flowers, herbs, and vegetables from seed! Learn how to set yourself up for success, indoors under lights or outdoors in your yard. Do you have a favorite seed catalog or extra seeds you have saved from your garden? Bring them with you to share! Participants will take home a pot of seeds ready to grow. Hannah Nendick-Mason studied horticulture in Northern California and has worked in many public and private gardens around the US and Canada. She currently coordinates the school garden program at Douglas Elementary, where every student gets to experience the magic of growing plants from seed.
