As a follow-up to our very popular Death Café last fall, this year we are scheduling a series of Community Conversations on Death and Dying. Moderators Amy Manning and Kat VanHammen will lead the discussion on Saturday, March 11 from 10-11.30 a.m. The topic for this first discussion is Body Care and Options Beyond Burial and Cremation.
Amy Manning is a certified End of Life Doula, a certified facilitator of Teen Talking Circles and has an MEd in Educational Leadership. She hosts the podcast/YouTube show Mortality and Tea with Amy.
Kat VanHammen has an MA in Expressive Arts Therapy and helps others create meaningful ceremonies and rites of passage. She is also a Wholistic Life Coach and certified Yoga and Qigong teacher.
